I’m a sports photographer based in Adelaide, South Australia.
My photographic journey began in the 1980’s, when I purchased my first SLR camera. Since that time I have dabbled in multiple aspects and genres of photography and video, however I am always drawn back to the excitement and passion associated with sport and action.
Throughout my business and photographic careers, honesty and integrity have been the cornerstone of the way I operate. Commitment to quality is never compromised, both in terms of results and process.

The most important thing you learn as a sports photographer is anticipation – not where the action is taking place, but where it’s going to take place. Not where the subject is now, but where they’re going to be.

Having some fun photos for players to look at after the game is great...... but it can be so much more than this. A properly managed media strategy, with quality content can greatly enhance a club's business. I welcome the chance to discuss this further with clubs showing where some opportunities may exist.
SPORT PHOTOGRAPHY IS ABOUT MORE THAN JUST ACTION
Much of the story is contained in the emotions and struggles of the participants. The rivalry and comradeship of competitors and fans can be a powerful motivator and can make some great photos. It is great to show the concentration and effort of participants. Similarly the fans, judges, sponsors, teammates and family members are an important part of the story.
